Toying with the idea of installing Windows 7 on my “main” media center. Instability will damage the WAF though. Still tempting.

WAF on mine is in the basement, not because of Win 7 in fact the new additions are very good and she can see the difference and quite likes it. But I still have the same old problems. I can't get it running stable for longer than an hour at a time without having to reboot, without it not recording, within it hanging, without it not coming back after a standby, without sparklies, dropouts, stupid powerdvd to view bluerays instead of what Gates always talked about and never delivered "convergence".
I have a feeling that perhaps my TV/Sat card 7010ix is actually very dodgy as things are great till I bring the Tele into it, but that was the whole point of the thing, no more sky, and I still havent managed it.
It's being Ashleighed any day soon.
